EStIF Interactive Forum: Financial Management, Control & Audit of ESI Funds

Most of ESI Funds experts are well aware of the applicable rules and requirements. The real challenge today is the practical implementation of running programmes and projects. Our EStIF Interactive Forum, combining theoretical knowledge and practical experience, will enable practitioners to participate in numerous practical workshops, case studies and discussion rounds and exchange experience on the most challenging management and financial control issues.

The following topics will be discussed in depth in parallel practical sessions and interactive workshops:

  • How to make management verifications more effective
  • How to draw up, certify and submit annual accounts to the European Commission
  • How to calculate Simplified Cost Options – flat rates, lump sums and standard scales of unit costs
  • How to fulfil audit and control requirements
  • How to make the best use of Financial Instruments within ESI Funds
  • How to handle errors, irregularities and financial corrections
  • How to design a strategy to prevent, detect and correct fraud and corruption in your institution
  • How to use ESI Funds for Revenue Generating Projects
