This specialised training unpacks the core EU legal and policy tools essential for understanding government-to-government transactions – specifically focusing on limitations, restrictions, and the complex landscape of exporting armaments.
Participants will learn how EU legal frameworks, including the politically binding EU Common Position on Arms Exports and the EU Dual-Use Regulation, are applied in practice. Additionally, participants will examine how national licensing decisions are shaped by and interact with these regulations, what specific restrictions apply when dealing with external imports, procedures for awarding and qualifying for contracts, and the critical criteria to ensure compliance.
Participants receive a certificate upon participation.
Further details on the workshop theme, programme, and speakers will be announced soon.
