This advanced workshop on Joint Procurement, Interoperability & Military Mobility brings together EU institutions, national authorities and industry to explore the current situation – which requires navigating differing national rules, permits, customs, and agendas – and what initiatives can be leveraged to move forces and defence equipment more effectively across borders.
Focusing on intra-EU military mobility, movement of equipment and the evolving rules on intra-EU transfers in the upcoming omnibus package, the workshop will examine how legal, procedural and technical frameworks can better support joint procurement and interoperable capabilities, also in light of NATO requirements. Participants will gain a clearer understanding of the current EU and NATO policy landscape, key regulatory bottlenecks, and the practical implications for planning, contracting and compliance in defence projects.
Participants receive a certificate upon participation.
Further details on the conference theme, programme, and speakers will be announced soon.
