By the end of 2023 all requests for major project approval or amendment have been submitted and decisions have been made before the final date of eligibility. 2024 will be a crucial year to double check and wrap up every necessary procedure, because all closure documents must be submitted to the European Commission by 15 February 2025.

So, what is left to do now to ensure a smooth closure of 2014-2020 Operational Programmes? What tasks will the Managing Authorities and the Audit Authorities face in the upcoming twelve months?
