Carlos Bosque
Legal Counsel at the European Investment Bank (EIB)
Carlos Bosque is Legal Counsel at the European Investment Bank (EIB). Before joining EIB, he worked as a Legal Counsel at the European Investment Fund (EIF) and as Legal Counsel (Letrado Asesor) at the Central Bank of Spain (Banco de España) -currently on voluntarily leave to serve at EIB-. From 2010 to 2014 he worked at the law form Uría Menéndez, where he was promoted to Senior Associate. He holds an advanced degree in Law (Licenciatura en Derecho) from the University of Zaragoza -awarded as the best academic record-. He is finishing his PhD in Law at the University Carlos III de Madrid on topics related to banking supervision, supervisory and sanctioning proceedings and the SSM. He teaches Banking Supervision at the University Carlos III de Madrid and regularly participates as a speaker in conferences and seminars on diverse topics.
