Dr. Cristina Sáenz Pérez is Senior Lecturer in EU and International Law at the Pontifical University of Comillas (Madrid). She previously held academic posts at the Universities of Leeds and Lincoln, and has taught extensively across the UK and Europe in EU law, human rights, international criminal law, and criminal justice. She holds a PhD in EU Criminal Law from the University of Leicester, fully funded by a Graduate Research Assistant Scholarship, and an LLM with distinction in International Criminal Law and Human Rights from the University of Turin.
