Nelly Stratieva

Executive Editor AIRe and EDPL, Lexxion and Leiden University, Berlin

Nelly Stratieva is the head of the editorial department at Lexxion Publisher in Berlin, Germany, and executive editor of the Journal of AI Law and Regulation (AIRe) and the European Data Protection Law Review (EDPL). She is pursuing a PhD at the Europa Centre of Leiden University, the Netherlands on the topic of developing a lean legal framework for ASEAN’s digital economy through global value chains.

Nelly has a background in international trade with past professional experiences in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia at the EU Chamber of Commerce and Industry and a management consultancy. She has an LLM in European Law from Maastricht University, is a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) and a member of the Asian Law & Society Association (ALSA).
