In this workshop, Subsidy Control experts Alexander Rose, Sattam Al-Mugheiry, Maria Marsden and Andrea Biondi will discuss the UK’s new Subsidy Control regime including the requirements of the Subsidy Control Act 2022 and the duty to notify certain awards to the Competition and Markets Authority.  The session will be perfect for those regularly working on matters involving public funding, including officials administering public funds in Central and Local Government, in-house lawyers within businesses that regularly seek public funding and professional advisers.

Methodology

A Lexxion Training provides you with a comprehensive overview of the current State aid control system in different sectors. Presentations, practical exercises and group work will enable you to apply the guidelines in the respective sector in practice.

This training will be conducted by renowned experts from EU and Member States’ institutions, as well as leading law firms and consultancies.

Our training method combines the three stages of learning to ensure that participants obtain the best possible understanding of EU rules:

  1. Identification of the main points or principles,
  2. Appreciation of the complexities and limitation of the principles,
  3. Application of the rules and principles.

Participants will be actively involved in the course. The sessions will combine presentations, case studies and discussion on practical issues. You will have ample opportunities to present your own issues and discuss them with the speakers and participants from other Member States.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation of participation must be in writing and is possible free of charge up to 14 days before the start of the event. In case of a no-show or cancellation later than two weeks before the date of the event, the entire event price plus VAT is due. Lexxion is happy to accept a replacement participant at no extra costs. The customer is free to prove that Lexxion suffered no or minor damages.


Photographs and Video Recordings

The event could be video recorded and photographed. You understand the necessity for our legitimate interest to be able to prove the event took place and to provide an indication of the audience of the different events.
