The Practical Application of the Subsidy Control Act 2022

The Practical Application of the Subsidy Control Act 2022 - Pictures Events 2023 19

Subsidy Control is one of the most rapidly developing areas of competition law.  In this workshop, experts with day to day involvement of advising on the UK’s new Subsidy Control regime will set out how to satisfy the rules, including discussing best practice as well as the implications of the latest case law and guidance. The workshop will provide the opportunity to ask detailed technical questions and network with other practitioners.  In addition to Subsidy Control, the workshop will also cover the EU’s new Foreign Subsidies regime and the implications this could have upon subsidy control compliance.

In the evening, there will be a free reception organised by King’s College London in cooperation with Lexxion in which further speakers will discuss the new regime and ways it could be improved.  This session will also involve the opportunity to network with a wide variety of people with an interest in the Subsidy Control regime. For the free event, please, register here.

There are limited spaces available, so we recommend that you reserve your spot today!

Starting from € 900,- (excl. VAT)  – Issuing the invoice in GBP is also possible.

Methodology

A Lexxion Training provides you with a comprehensive overview of the current State aid control system in different sectors. Presentations, practical exercises and group work will enable you to apply the guidelines in the respective sector in practice.

This training will be conducted by renowned experts from EU and Member States’ institutions, as well as leading law firms and consultancies.

Our training method combines the three stages of learning to ensure that participants obtain the best possible understanding of EU rules:

  1. Identification of the main points or principles,
  2. Appreciation of the complexities and limitation of the principles,
  3. Application of the rules and principles.

Participants will be actively involved in the course. The sessions will combine presentations, case studies and discussion on practical issues. You will have ample opportunities to present your own issues and discuss them with the speakers and participants from other Member States.
