Dr. Sabine Wittig

Dr. Sabine Wittig is a state-certified food chemist and senior expert for all food law issues with a focus on novel food. She has been with RDA Scientific Consultants GmbH located in Munich since 2020. She is the point of contact for all questions relating to novel foods (applications, consultation procedures, differentiation issues, etc.), toxicological assessments, questions concerning cosmetic products, chemical products and other consumer goods. Complex regulatory issues are her speciality. Dr. Sabine Wittig completed her PhD on identification of protein interactions in synaptic vesicles. During her PhD, she showed that she can apply complex modern analytical methods, present results at international congresses and publish them successfully. Previously she worked for two years as a safety assessor for cosmetic products and as a lead for cosmetic studies.
