Gyöngyi Dávid focuses her practice on EU regulatory compliance in the field of chemicals, food and environmental law. On chemicals she has experience advising clients on REACH and CLP regulations. On product regulations she focuses on pesticides, biocides, food contact materials, RoHS2 & WEEE, medical devices, cosmetics, Eco-design, waste, and end-of-life legislation.
In relation to chemicals, she advises on cost-effective compliance strategies, data sharing negotiations, consortia management, regulatory due diligence, and assessment of related competition law issues under REACH, biocides, and plant protection products.
Gyöngyi has advised clients in compliance of food contact materials with EU and national legislation, composition and assessment of food and cosmetic products – including the analysis of borderline products – and the marketing of food products in multiple European countries.
Gyöngyi assists clients in removing barriers to market access for products across the EU internal market involving CE marking, RoHS, nanomaterials, medical devices, cosmetics, eco-design, and energy-related products. Environmental areas include batteries, electronic waste (WEEE) and end-of-life legislation.
