Jason Nugent
Scientific and Regulatory Expert
Jason Nugent is an environmental scientist with over 30 years of experience working within the chemical industry as a scientific and regulatory expert. He has amassed extensive experience, expertise and perspective with respect to SCanadian chemical regulations through the positions he has held within Environment Canada’s New Substances Branch, a multinational chemical company, and several consulting firms. He has managed and participated in the preparation of hundreds of new substance notifications, including notifications in USA, Canada, Europe, China, Australia, and Japan. Jason Nugent has been actively involved in Canada’s Industry Coordinating Group for CEPA for over 20 years and is currently acting as a co-chair of the New Substances Sub-Committee.
