Magdalena Brewczyńska

PhD Researcher at Tilburg University

Magdalena Brewczyńska is a doctoral researcher at the Department of Law, Technology, Markets, and Society (LTMS) – Home of Tilburg Institute for Law, Technology and Society (TILT) and Tilburg Law & Economics Center (TILEC). She holds an LL.M. in Law & Technology from Tilburg University in the Netherlands and a Master’s degree in Law obtained at Jagiellonian University in Poland. Her research interests focus on privacy, data protection, and cybersecurity. In the PhD project, Magdalena examines legal challenges arising from the practices of sharing personal data between the private and public sectors for the law enforcement purposes.

Prior to joining academia, Magdalena was gaining professional experience in the law firms and at the European Data Protection Supervisor (EDPS).
