Mechthild von Maydell

Director Audit Authority, State Chancellery and Ministry of Culture, Magdeburg

Mechthild von Maydell has been Director of the Audit Authority at the State Chancellery and Ministry of Culture since 1. July 2008.

After her study in business and economics Ms von Maydell worked in severel banks for corporate clients and as advisor for loans. After that she changed her job and started as advisor in the Court of Audit of Saxony-Anhalt.

The audits of an Audit Authority cover all aspects of the national funding legislation as well as the application of EU-legal requirements.

Mechthild von Maydell has several speaking engagements about audits of State aid and audits of Financial Instruments.
