Natasa Misovska
Certified State Auditor / Advisor to the General IPA Auditor at Audit Authority for Audit of Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance (IPA), North Macedonia
Natasa Misovska is an expert in Audit and PFM. She has Bachelor’s degree in accounting and financial management from the University of ‘Ss. Cyril and Methodius’ and she is Master of Economy with title Cum Laude, she is Certified State Auditor and Certified Accountant.
She has high experience in external audit and audit of EU funds (17 years working experience in the State Audit Office (SAO) and Audit Authority). She has wide experience in auditing IPA/IPARD Funds (system audits, audits of operations, audits of accounts, closure audits, compliance audits, on-the-spot checks/verifications, annual plans and annual reporting) and wide experience in SAO’s state audits, regularity, financial audits and performance audits in Ministries, Public Enterprises, Local Governments, experience in detection of fraud and irregularities, experience of on the spot checks/verifications of the projects funded by EU funds (IPA, IPARD, EIDHR, CBC).
She was working on development of the State Audit Office (SAO) and Audit Authority in the Republic of North Macedonia and she has practical experience in audit engagements, working experience on establishing of audit methodology, internal acts, strategies, annual programmes/plans, annual reporting, Work Load Analyse, Training Need Analyse, member of the working groups, and is responsible for Audit Quality Assurance.
Also, she is experienced in management of projects (coordinator of the FWC and Project Leader of the Twinning Project for strengthening the capacities of the Audit Authority) and she was engaged by CEF as mentor on TIAPS project in the country for CIPFA international certification of the internal auditors.
