Niklas Follin

Niklas Follin is a partner at Setterwalls, Stockholm, and a member of the firm’s IP/Tech department. His practice centres on AI and emerging technologies, technology procurement, intellectual property rights, data protection and digital compliance – with a particular focus on advising major technology companies and public-sector entities on strategic IT and tech projects, including procurement of AI systems and negotiations of complex technology contracts as well as distressed projects and IT disputes. He regularly assists Swedish and international clients in navigating legal, regulatory, and contractual challenges and has acted for several of the leading public entities and technology companies in the Nordic market. Niklas serves on the board of the Swedish Society for IT and Law (SIJU) and is a member of the Swedish Bar Association. He holds a Swedish law degree from Lund University.
