Petra Ferk is one of the Founders and Director of development projects in the Institute for Public-Private Partnership, Slovenia. Petra is also one of the Founders of the S-Procurement, Ltd., the project company established with the goal to localise to Slovenia one of the top 3 global public procurement platforms (according to Gartner), powered by Vortal, to Slovenia. Petra was Project manager of the localisation on the side of S-Procurement team. Furthermore, Petra is assistant professor for public administration at the New University, Slovenia.
Petra Ferk is also national correspondent for European Procurement & Public Private Partnership Law Review. She is the Secretary General of the Slovenian Association for European Law, a member of the management board at Fédération Internationale pour le Droit Européen (FIDE) and at International Academy of Comparative Law (IACL). Petra is active in promotion of public-private partnership approach for provision of public services and public infrastructure, i.a. within the UNECE International PPP Centre of Excellence. Recently, she has been actively engaging in discussions on e-procurement, especially in promoting digital-by-default approach in e-procurement. Other focus fields are PPPs, energy performance contracting, eMobility, financing of public services and public infrastructure, state aid.
