Steven Verschuur is a partner at Osborne Clarke heading up its EU law practice in Brussels.

He has extensive experience in proceedings and investigations before the European Commission and the national competition authorities of Belgium and the Netherlands. He has litigated a large number of cases in the Court of Justice of the EU and domestic courts, and is also a specialist across several of Osborne Clarke’s key international sectors including retail and consumer, life science and healthcare and energy and utilities.

Steven has a particular focus on State Aid having working on various in-depth investigations and proceedings before the Court of Justice in the area of banking, aviation, real estate and, most notably, tax measures.
