Dr. Carolin Bendadani

Federal Office of Consumer Protection and Food Safety (BVL), Berlin

Carolin Bendadani studied food chemistry and holds a doctorate in pharmacology and toxicology. She is the team leader for „specific foods and committees“ within the BVL’s Unit 111 “General Affairs, Food”. Carolin also chairs the Nutrition Committee of the Codex Alimentarius and the D-A-CH working group on lists of substances.

From 2020 to 2023, she was a seconded national expert to the European Commission.
