Pavel Hradecky

Head of Coordination of National Recovery Plan Unit, Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, Prague, Czech Republic

Pavel Hradecký is Head of Coordination of the National Recovery Plan (NRP) Unit at the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports in Prague, a position he has held since 2022.

He holds degrees in economics and chemistry and has been working in the field of EU funds since 2006, starting as a project and financial manager at a Managing Authority. He subsequently joined the Audit Authority, where he worked in the Department of Methodology and Support of Auditors.

From 2017 until 2022, he served as Head of the EU Funds Unit at the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic, where he was responsible for programmes implemented under both shared and direct management of the European Commission.

His professional focus includes public procurement, contract modifications, audit and control of EU‑funded projects, and risk management related to EU financial instruments.
