Nicole Robins

Nicole Robins is a partner at the economics and finance consultancy, Oxera Consulting LLP, based in Brussels where she leads Oxera’s State Aid and Subsidy Control practice.
She advises clients on a wide range of economic and financial issues in state aid cases relating to assessments of the market economy operator principle (MEOP) as well as assessments of the compatibility of aid. Her advice covers a broad range of sectors including energy, financial services, pharmaceuticals, post and telecoms, transport and sports infrastructure.
Nicole advises clients on state aid compliance, and she also advises beneficiaries and member states during notifications to, and investigations, by the European Commission and in state aid cases in front of the courts.
She also teaches the state aid module on King’s College’s Economics for Competition Law postgraduate diploma course.
