The European Data Protection Law Review (EDPL) cordially invites our readers, practitioners, and fellow academics to participate in the final selection for the 2026 Young Scholars Award.

From an impressive pool of submissions, our expert jury, consisting of Bart van der Sloot (Tilburg University), Hielke Hijmans (Belgian Data Protection Authority) and Susanna Lindroos-Hovinheimo (University of Helsinki) has selected two finalists whose work demonstrates exceptional quality, innovation, and clarity.

During the YSA panel at the CPDP conference in Brussels, the finalists will present their research and this year’s winner will be announced. CDPD participants are warmly invited to join the YSA panel on 21 May, 16:00 to 17:15 (Class Room).
